A stepped, hand-laid fiberglass deep-V hull is the foundation of this hobby grade, high performance Jet Stream 888VE RC Racing Boat. The waterproof speed control and brushless motor produce an amazing amount of power and speed, pushing the Jetstream to unreal performance levels. The Jetstream is fast enough that it can flip over, but the design takes that inevitability into account. If the boat flips, sealed chambers in the hull flood with water, causing it to roll upright on its own. Then you just hit the throttle and any excess water will drain from the hull and have you back in action without the need to swim out to right your boat.
The hull is made from hand-laid fiberglass, painted and covered with a high-gloss clear coat finish. High quality, high-performance hardware on the transom ensures blistering fast speed and sharp, precise steering response. A three-bladed prop is driven by a water-cooled brushless electric motor via a flex cable drive. Electronics are sealed in a water-tight radio box, and the foam-rubber sealed deck lid is held in place with very strong Neo magnets and special sealing tape. Unlike toy grade RC boats, the Jet Stream features a Syncro KT-231P 2.4 GHz radio, which provides nearly seamless, fully proportional control that mirrors your every move, no matter how precise.
The boat is factory assembled and is ready to run. You simply need to provide your choice of battery (designed for use with LiPo batteries) and a compatible charger.

it’s large for the available space. Kyosho America recommends using a battery
that is no larger than 5.12 x 1.34 x 1.50 (130x38x34mm). This gives a little
extra clearance for battery installation and removal.
